Polycap TC: for the safe and efficient filtration of biological solutions and tissue culture media.

The capsule incorporates two layers of PES membrane, naturally hydrophilic, low extractable levels and with high specific flow rates. PES membranes are also known for their low protein binding making them ideal for the filtration of sensitive biological solutions. The capsules are supplied pre-sterilised by gamma rays and have air vents to optimise the filtration surface by avoiding trapping air. The capsule output is protected to avoid contact during installation and has ribbed connections for standard pipes. Some models are also available with NPT threaded connections as well as with filling bells.
