Combines a multi-function electronic counter with a Sharpie® pen for marking to prevent missing or double-counting colonies.

• Uses Sharpie markers
• Each press of the tip of the marker increments the digital counter
• Possibility of counting by zone (1 to 9 delimited on a Petri dish) for the sum of the counts from all the zones
• Can be used with or without sound
• Automatically switches off after 10 minutes
• The E-counter is kept on its vertical stand with the Sharpie marker inserted and capped
• Supplied with a CR1220 button cell, a stand
• Light, ergonomic body is balanced for easy manipulation
• Select between an audible beep or an led flash to acknowledge count
