Made from pure polypropylene to avoid contaminants or metals (polypropylene mix ensures good transparency, flexibility, robustness, good anti-static characteristics and gas impermeability).
High form: the surface is more important, as is the surface of reagents passed during the steam phase (most thermal cyclers are equipped with a heated lid which prevents evaporation and condensation).

• Excellent mould precision which avoids the use of turning out agents and releasing agents
• Handling-free manufacture guarantees that the products are free from DNA, RNA, DNase, RNase and are non-pyrogenic
• Tube wall: 0.25 mm
• Evaporation rate between 2 and 3 % (reduced by homogeneity of the wall)
• All tubes can be used for real time PCR
• The tilt angle of the tubes has been modified to offer better contact with the walls of the heating blocks
• Minimum working volume of 5 µl (possible with 5 µl)
• The domed cap tubes have an optically transparent plate area on top
• Assisting tab on the cap opening prevents contact with the inside of the cap for the tubes (series 038301)
• The base of the cap has a frosted labelling area
• The tube caps, with a thin wall and sealed band along the cap, make the tubes more leak-proof
• Can be used for centrifugation
• The high form tubes fit into the Matrix support (038718) for use in thermal cyclers
