Characteristics of strips of 8 high form tubes: • 038611 series: combines the benefits of the ''EU'' wall with the classic form of PCR tubes • 038622 series: with a frosted labelling area on each end of the strip • Can be used in almost all PCR equipment • To close the tubes, use the EU flat cap strips (038725 series) or the optical EU semi-domed caps (038634 series) - see below • The strips are placed in the click and go system (038717) or in the matrix system (038718), which enables 96 microplate format tubes to be transported at once
Characteristics of strips of 8 low form tubes: • with a frosted labelling area on each end of the strip • Can be used in most standard PCR equipment or for real time PCR with an adjustable height lid • For thermal cyclers without an adjustable height lid, these microtubes can be used with adapter 038714 or 038715 • The strips are placed in the matrix system (038718) which enables 96 microplate format tubes to be transported at once • To close the tubes, use the EU flat cap strips (038725 series) or the optical EU semi-domed caps (038633 series)
