Filters used for pre-filtration to protect a microfiltration membrane during the filtration of fooling solutions. These glass microfibre filters are characterised by a substantial thickness, providing high capacity retention of particles throughout the thickness.

The AP15, AP20, AP25 type filters have an acrylic binding resin in order to avoid the release of fibres during filtration. However, the AP40 type is not binding, ie it complies with all the analysis norms such as the determination of suspended solids in water, air analysis.
