96- well microplates with a surface treatment and colour pigment which mean they can be used in all fluorescence and luminescence applications. All the plates are either flat-bottom (F) or flat-bottom with rounded corners (C).

• Black microplates: for fluorescence and luminescence; they scatter light and reduce background noise.
• White microplates: for fluorescence and luminescence; they maximise the signal and eliminate the problems of autofluorescence and luminesence.
• Transparent microplates: they greatly reduce the background noise while allowing an optical reading.
