The Pulverisette 14 rotor centrifugal mill is the ideal solution for fast and efficient fine grinding of soft to medium-hard, brittle and fibrous materials and temperature sensitive samples.
In the crusher, the sample is thrown onto the teeth of the rotor which crushes it.

After this stage, the material is passed through a sieve with defined perforations by centrifugal force. Samples that are difficult to grind or extremely temperature sensitive (styrenes, polyesters, synthetic resins, films, PVC, PP and PE) can be broken by adding liquid nitrogen before grinding.
