The pulveriser 19 is a knife mill that crushes the sample by shearing.

The sample is fed into the grinding chamber and is then reduced and crushed between the blades of a rotor and the fixed counter knives of the chamber. The slow-running universal knife mill PULVERISETTE 19 shreds hard or viscoplastic samples with a maximum initial size of 70 x 80 mm at a maximum throughput of 60 l/h.

Ideal for comminuting soft to medium-hard, fibrous and tough materials, plastics and heterogeneous mixtures.
