• The 5X buffer contains: 17,5 mM de MgCl?, the dNTPs and additives to ensure maximum efficiency of the PCR reaction
• The 5X buffer contains: 17,5 mM de MgCl?, dNTPs (dATP, dCTP, dGTP, dUTP), UNG and additives to ensure maximum efficiency of the PCR reaction
• Mix containing the enzyme Uracil-DNA glycosylase (UNG) and dUTPs instead of dTTPs
• Reduces the risk of cross-contamination by removing DNA from the previous PCR reaction:
- the enzyme uracil-DNA glycosylase (UNG) degrades DNA containing uracil residues at the beginning of the reaction, before being inactivated during the activation phase of the DNA polymerase
- dUTPs are incoporated instead of dTTPs during the DNA elongation step
